Puck Pandas sweep Horns
Despite a Friday night scare from the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns, the University of Alberta Pandas completed a weekend sweep of the Horns on Saturday night, defeating the Horns 5-1. With less than a second remaining in regulation in Friday night’s contest, the Pandas broke the hearts of the Horns by scoring a power play goal to give them the victory. This contest was not as close, as Alberta took an early lead and held it for the remainder of the contest. After a busy game on Friday, where she faced 45 shots, Horns goalie Kailey McMaster (Kenora, ON, 5th) was once again assaulted by the Pandas, facing 52 shots on goal for the evening.
